Η απήχηση του κομματιού προκάλεσε κρίση ταυτότητας, αφού το συγκρότημα ενδιαφερόταν να γράψει «λευκή σόουλ» και όχι ψυχεδέλεια, όπως ζητούσε η εταιρεία (το Kites δεν ήταν δική τους σύνθεση).
