He (2 Samuel 15:27), served as a messenger during Absalom's rebellion (2 Samuel 15:36, 17:17). He lived as a contemporary of Zadok, who Josephus claims was the ancestor of the Samaritan High Priests The king also said to Zadok the priest, “Do you understand?
