Zusammen mit seinem Vater, dem muslimischen Geistlichen Scheich Muhammad-Baqir († Dezember 1883 in Nadschaf), welchen Baha’u’llah als „Wolf“ bezeichnete, hatte er den Tod vieler Bahai zu verantworten.
