, La Asociación Europea de Estudiantes de In … La Asociación Europea de Estudiantes de Ingeniería Aeroespacial (en inglés: European Association of Aerospace Students) es una iniciativa estudiantil europea que tiene como objetivo ser el nexo de unión entre la industria y estudiantes de ingeniería enfocados en el sector aeroespacial. EUROAVIA fue fundada en 1959 bajo la ley holandesa y a día de hoy, la asociación está compuesta de 43 grupos locales en 17 países europeos, sumando un total de aproximadamente 3000 miembros.La finalidad de todas las acciones realizadas en EUROAVIA es fortalecer la conexión entre los estudiantes y la industria aeroespacial, así como estimular el intercambio cultural. Al mismo tiempo, la asociación quiere producir una mayor sensibilización del potencial de los estudiantes europeos y representarlos, por tanto, a un nivel internacional.Los miembros de la asociación organizan constantemente reuniones internacionales, talleres y simposios. Además, los miembros de EUROAVIA también se reúnen regularmente en los dos encuentros generales de la asociación y en el taller anual. El evento más reconocido es, sin embargo, el Design Workshop. En 1956, un grupo de estudiantes en Aquisgrán remarcó la inestable situación de las industrias astronáuticas y aeroespaciales debido a la falta de cooperación con los grandes organismos económicos. Es, por tanto, un imperativo resolver los grandes problemas y desafíos juntos, mediante la cooperación entre organizaciones civiles y militares del Gobierno y las Fuerzas Armadas, así como mejorar la investigación en las universidades europeas"Aunque se pidió a los profesores que informaran a sus alumnos de la intención de establecer una asociación a nivel europeo, solo los estudiantes de París y Delft respondieron. El primer paso era cruzar las fronteras. En la primera mitad de 1958 el grupo de Aquisgrán había reunido ya a 14 estudiantes activos. Los contactos personales comenzaron por un estudiante francés y otro neerlandés. Le siguieron otros contactos durante visitas por Francia, Italia y los Países Bajos.Fue en una de etas reuniones donde se formó un "comité provisoire" (comité provisional). Η EUROAVIA ιδρύθηκε το 1959 και υπάγεται στην Ολλανδική νομοθεσία. Σήμερα, ο σύλλογος αποτελείται από 32 Τοπικές Αντιπροσωπείες (local groups) σε 16 χώρες από όλη την Ευρώπη - αριθμώντας περίπου 1300 μέλη συνολικά.
