* Die Konzertreihe Foyer junger Künstler verschafft jungen Musikern Auftrittsmöglichkeiten.
* Mit Preisen, Stipendien und Patenschaften werden junge Künstler individuell gefördert. Die Stiftung unterstützt Aktivitäten des Deutschen Musikrats. Ihre Hauptspender sind seit 1965 die Rundfunkanstalten beziehungsweise seit einigen Jahren die Werbegesellschaften der ARD.
