Beide Tätigkeitsbereiche führt das CSG fort. Die Vereinsarbeit umfasst vor allem die Archivierung von Dokumenten, die mit der Geschichte homosexueller Männer im Rheinland zu tun haben. Daneben organisiert es Ausstellungen, Vorträge und andere Bildungsveranstaltungen.
